About me
Software architect and full-stack developer with 15+ years of experience building scalable systems. Focused on clean architecture, TypeScript, cloud-native solutions, and AI-assisted development. Passionate about creating reliable software—and great BBQ.
Hi, I’m Jose Miguel Torres Scaff.
I’m a software architect and full-stack developer with over 15 years of experience building systems that actually scale in the real world—not just on diagrams.
I’ve worked across enterprise environments, startups, and distributed teams, designing and delivering software using modern best practices. My focus is simple: build reliable systems, move fast without breaking things, and keep the codebase maintainable for the next engineer (including future me).
Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of technologies—Java, TypeScript, .NET, AWS, PostgreSQL, React, Node.js—and led initiatives from architecture design to production deployment. Lately, I’ve been heavily focused on cloud-native systems and integrating AI tools into development workflows to improve productivity and decision-making.
I enjoy solving complex problems, but I care just as much about how solutions are built: clean architecture, strong typing, automated testing, and continuous delivery.
Outside of work, I’m usually experimenting with new tech, creating content, or doing one of my favorite things—BBQ. There’s something about slow cooking and good code that feels very similar: both require patience, precision, and knowing when not to overcomplicate things.
If you’re into software architecture, TypeScript, AI-assisted development, or just building better systems, you’ll probably feel at home here.
